Bruce Lipton's research in 1987, which proved that our cells are
controlled by their perception of the environment rather our genes, is
the inspiration and the substantiating scientific data behind Passage of
Change.Bruce H. Lipton, Ph.D., cellular biologist and author, was formerly an Associate Professor of Anatomy at the University of Wisconsin's School of Medicine (1973-1982), where he taught medical students and researched muscular dystrophy. As a Fellow in Pathology at Stanford University's School of Medicine (1987-1992), his published research on cloned human cells revealed how perception controls behavior and gene activity. Lipton's current research on the biochemical pathways connecting the mind and body provide insight into the molecular basis of consciousness.
